1. CURRENT TOPICS: The light green boxes in the middle column of the South Berendo Days blog page are where currently discussed topics are found. Responses or comments to those topics are displayed by clicking on the words "n comments" near the bottom of the topic box, where "n" is the number of comments up to this time. Other features, such as this FAQ, may also appear in the middle column. To return to the topics list after viewing one of these other features, click "Home - Topics List" at the bottom of the column.
2. MAKING COMMENTS: To comment on an existing Topic, click on "n comments" at the bottom of the particular topic box..
3. POSTING A NEW TOPIC: To post a new topic, currently, we have to send mail to "kernville.berendo.blogger.com", or to the Berendo group at "southberendo@googlegroups.com". Either of these methods will result in your topic being posted on this blogs middle column. If you click on "Start a New Topic" link a form will display so that you can send email right from the blog page. You in effect are sending email to the SouthBerendo google group. You will receive your post in your email and on the South Berendo Days page. The topic title should be entered as the "subject" of the message.
4. VIEWING EXISTING COMMENTS: To see the comments to an EXISTING TOPIC or to add a comment, click "n commenst" at the bottom of the topic box. To return to the list of all topics, click "Home - Topics List" below the comment box.
5. GOOGLE GROUP LINKAGE TO THIS SITE: This blog page and the SouthBerendo google group are linked together so that posting a message in either one will be reflected in both of them.
6. RETURNING FROM EXTERNAL LINKS: Many of the links in the right hand column will take you to external pages. When you are finished viewing those pages, click the "back" button or arrow to get you back to the South Berendo Days page.
7. LOOKING FOR ARCHIVED BERENDO LIST MESSAGES: Older messages posted to the original Rootsweb Berendo List can be found using two different links under "Berendo Links" in the right hand column of this web page. Messages posted to this South Berendo Days blog page can be seen using links in the left hand column of this page under "Message Archive and List of Topics".
