Are you guys available for lunch Monday?  I'll be driving home from Santa Luis Obispo. Jan and I attended a watercolor workshop ai Asilomar in Pacific Grove. My mother was born there. Do you know what grandpa was doing there?  Also, where was your mother born?  I know Theron was born in Washington just nine months after the wedding. Grandma said the old biddies were counting the months.

Yes, Monday is good. Grandpa was working as a mechanic at a cannery in Monterey.  Mom was born in Monterey. Bernice may have been visiting or staying with them when she met her first husband, Mr. Wheeler. I believe he was a soldier at the nearby base.
