Dave's broken arm?

Dave,

When you broke your arm back in the late 40's at the Southside Theatre building site, Dr. Beckner came to our house and used a magazine as a splint.  Do you remember the month and year?  And if so, do you remember anything about the magazine that was used?  Was it a Life or Saturday evening post magazine.  It might be fun to see what the contents of that magazine issue was.

I remember that momma subscribed to several magazines in those days.
