They lived just over the top of the hill on Berendo. They had to work hard to get David into Bret Harte instead of Gompers.

I don't think he ever came over our way, maybe to walk to Washington. Here's his picture from Washington

Dave and Pam were returning home from a trip to South Dakota.  They stopped at an Idaho gas station to get gas.  David Dobbins was a customer there and started up a conversation with my brother.  Dave asked Dobbins where he was raised and that led to the discovery that Dobbins originally lived on Berendo south of Imperial.  Dobbins now lives in Coeur D'alene Idaho.

It's curious that I never knew of Dobbins.  I guess my world was smaller than I thought 😉.

Do you recall a guy named David Dobbins?   My brother Dave met him at a gas station in Idaho.  They had never met before.  David Dobbins turns out to have lived on Berendo south of Imperial in the 114 hundred block.  He said he graduated from Washington High around 1960 - 61.
