Interesting that they took out the circles.  Several circles in D.C., like DuPont Circle, have a statue in the middle, so they won't be taken out anytime soon.

We seem to be getting more traffic circles out here in the Antelope Valley.  Some places are taking them out.  I remember being in Virginia while in the Army in the early 60s and there was a whole series of traffic circles on one of the major highways.   More recently, Sheila and I have gone back to visit and those traffic circles are gone.
